Greg is a native of the Columbia area. He grew up on the northeast side of town and graduated from Spring Valley High School. He is also a graduate of the University of South Carolina and Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
Greg has studied church planting for many years including church startups in Singapore , Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. He has been on several mission trips to southeast Asia and to China. He has been a Senior Pastor for 16 years and has worked in a variety of churches. He and several friends started Friend Church almost 10 years ago.
Greg is married to Missie, his wife of sixteen years. They have a eleven year old son, Jack, and a miniature Chihuahua named Buck and Jack's dog, Racket, a Boston Bull Terrier.
