Friend Church has launched a capital campaign entitled,
“Make a Difference.” This three-year campaign will focus
first on the importance of stewardship. Stewardship is faithfully
managing all of life and life’s resources for God’s glory. This
campaign will also challenge good stewards to give above and beyond so that we can reach and impact future friends in our community.

The purpose of the campaign is to grow Friend Church into a
healthy church. What do we mean by healthy? We mean ceasing to live and thrive from paycheck to paycheck. In order to do cuttingedge things to draw friends to God, it takes resources. While Friend Church has no debt, we also have no funds set aside to cover our growth. Our current funds are paying today’s bills.

The theme of the campaign is “Each According to His Own
Ability.”
What can you do? Pray and allow God to speak to you. Listen to Him and be faithful. God will direct your commitment to stewardship and/or giving above and beyond IF you will seek him.

A steering team has been established to help carry out the campaign activities. Please see the reverse side of this insert for the members’ names and a brief description of their responsibilities.
