Elements: Friend Church Creative Ministry

The creative ministry of Friend Church exists to communicate the essential truths of belief and faith in Jesus in new and fresh ways. We call these attempts to communicate the truth of Jesus elements, elements of worship.

The creative ministry of Friend Church encompasses our Music Ministry, Visual Arts, and Multimedia/Video Ministry. In each medium we attempt to creatively communicate Jesus.

As each element functions together creatively, the ancient and complicated truths of our faith become clearer. It is the mission of our creative ministry to create these elements.

The primary function of the church is to teach the people to apply the teachings of Jesus to their lives. Effective communication of God's revelation is the most effective way to build a worshipper. The whole context of every church service in its purest form is worship. Every element is added to enhance the environment for that central worship element.

As we meet each week, there are people who come to our community broken, hurting, and tormented. These people are in desperate need of peace. It is often in those moments of peace that God brings clarity to their situation, and they respond to him with affection for the love he has poured out on them.
